I’ve wanted to mention Porcelain Raft here for a while, but new stuff kept coming around, not leaving me enough time to write about this great Italian artist. Damn thriving indie music scene.
Mauro Remiddi is originally from Rome but lives in London. He’s been making a living off his music for more than ten years, scoring indie movies or fronting his indie band, Sunny Day Sets Fire. That’s one of the things that differentiates him from other rising indie artists : Mauro is 37 and has a precise idea of where he’s going with his music.
I am very fond of his latest album, Strange Weekend, and would recommend it to anyone who needs a new album to put on repeat. So vai vai, give it a try.
